A legally binding contract is established once a customer makes a verbal or written reservation with Lake Ohrid Paragliding or through one of its official booking channels. By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions, which become an integral part of the agreement between the customer and Lake Ohrid Paragliding.
Lake Ohrid Paragliding commits to delivering the agreed-upon paragliding service as outlined in its offerings or booking confirmation. Additional services may be arranged upon request and agreement, with any extra costs to be covered by the customer.
Either party may terminate this agreement in writing.
If the customer cancels the booking, they are liable to pay cancellation fees based on the timing of the cancellation notice:
Up to 14 days before the scheduled activity: No charge
Between 13 and 2 days before the activity: 30% of the total price
1 day before or failure to appear: 100% of the total price
Lake Ohrid Paragliding reserves the right to deny service to any participant whose actions, behavior, or omissions compromise the safety or feasibility of the activity. The customer in question will be liable for cancellation charges as stated in Section 3.1.
If unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, strikes, or other uncontrollable factors prevent the activity from proceeding, Lake Ohrid Paragliding may cancel or shorten the experience at short notice.
In such cases, any payments made will be refunded, minus charges for services already provided, applicable expenses, and an administrative fee. If feasible, the Service Provider may reschedule the activity or offer an equivalent alternative.
Participants must be in good health and are required to disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to take part in the activity.
Participation is strictly prohibited for individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, prescription medications that impair cognitive function, or any other substances that could compromise safety.
Customers must meet the participation criteria and adhere to all instructions given by the guides, instructors, and team members. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the activity without a refund.
Participants must ensure they have adequate health and accident insurance that includes coverage for adventure sports.
By agreeing to these terms, participants recognize that paragliding is an adventure sport with inherent risks, including the possibility of serious injury. The participant understands and accepts these risks voluntarily and acknowledges the nature and extent of potential hazards involved.
Before participating, each individual must sign a liability waiver releasing Lake Ohrid Paragliding, its owners, staff, guides, equipment providers, and any landowners involved from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from personal injury, property damage, or any incidents related to paragliding activities, whether on the ground or in the air.
